Madison Central falls in District

Madison Southern scored five times in the third and stunned long-tme rival and nemesis #7 Madison Central (24-10) in the opening game of the 44th District Tournament at Berea College.

The Eagles (15-16) got a great performance in relief from freshman Hunter Buchanan and a big hit from Clay Combs as they beat Central for the first time in more than 15 years.
